What do you do to enjoy your solitude?

Well first off if I want to enjoy solitude, I don't answer my fu**king front door:cheers:

Theres nothing like quality time alone sometimes without other people's baggage... yeah

 

i lay in the dark and write poetry in my journal

 

sleep, masturbate, read, watch tv or play video games. or cook, sometimes a little cleaning

 

Dream, Reflect, Daydream, Draw, Read, Wank, etc...

 

I post on Hip Forums and get stoned.

 

Daydream, write, daydream, wander aimlessly, daydream

 

Intense Thinking...

 

I've gotten in the habbit of meditating for an hour every afternoon when my son is watching his afternoon movie. Sometimes I lay and nap and other times I decompress my thoughts.

This has helped me make it thru the day.

 

music - books - nature - videogames - beer

 

The web, mostly hip forums, then of course playing music and catching a good flick or program on windows media. Sometimes I scan and print stuff and post it on my wall.
On ocassions too I may drink a beer.

 

almost everything i enjoy just about requires solitude. so what i do to enjoy it encompassess just about everything that enjoy doing.

everything i do on the computer, for one thing, and this is why i keep such seemingly unusual hours, or a big part of why i do.

all the other things i enjoy dreaming up, creating and making too.

even my occasional feeble attempts at creative writing.

when i ride arround on a bus or train or go for long walks i prefer to do so without the loss of experiencing where i am and the spiritness of the places that comes from the distraction of company, that latter lessining and cheapining the experience for me.

about the only thing i like to do WITHOUT solitude is huggle and snuggle and cuddle, which is all well and good, but the mind needs something too. and 99% of companionship, when it comes to intellectual stimulation, is no company at all. mundaneness damd sure isn't.

i want everyone to be able to be happy and healthy, but i damd sure wish they would do so without feeling like they need my company or attention.

maybe my short answer ought simply to be "enjoy life".

Solitude?! What's that?!

Heck, even my sleeping is interrupted. Last night my oldest had another nightmare and crawled into bed with us. So much for morning nookie with the husband. *pouts*

I live in solitude outside of work, so... my life is based around it. I focus a lot on meself...

Play the guitar, the piano, read alot, do the internet thing (my little gateway to people), watch movies, cook, make hemp jewelry, take long baths, and smoke lots of ciggs.

 

i read, go on the computer and visit various forums, i do not answer the door, masturbate or sleep

Wouldn't you rather sit on a bus and chat to a fit girl? Would a sexy woman distract you from looking at trees an stuff?

I assume your single then? Theres nothing wrong with solitude but, wouldn't you rather spend time with women? IDK, just a random thought.

 

as i recall the mnax is happily married and has been for many years.

as for me, im rarely alone,unless im driving.
closes thing to solitude i have is a game of scrabble with dilli.
but thats good enough for me.
