Strange Womens Health Issues?

So lately I've been feeling really strange, I'm tired all the time, my breasts are tender, I'm bloated, the entire front of my pelvic area feels tense. I've also gained about 4 pounds in the past few weeks...likely due to the strange bloatation? I got a home pregnancy test and it said I wasn't pregnant. I went to the doc's today and they took a blood sample to check and make sure I wasn't pregnant and signed me up for an ultrasound of my pelvic area...I'm kind of scared because Ovarian cysts run in my family..has any of this ever randomly happened to anyone else?

 

It sounds like pregnancy symptoms, but good luck and let us know how things turn out at the MD! Also in the mean time try not to worry and be scared. Easier said than done I know, but the worry only makes you feel crazy! I found a lump in my breast last year and just about drove myself nuts with worry until I could get in to my midwife!

 

I've had some of that same stuff happen to me, I haven't took a pregnacy test, but I've been wondering if I have something like that wrong with me. I've also been haveing REALLY bad cramps like I'm my period or something, so when you find out let us know. I'm hoping I don't have something like that going on, but shit happens.

 

thanks for replying you two! I got a blood pregnancy test and it's not that, I just actually got my period a few days ago (wooo!..never been this excited about it before lol) My doctor still scheduled me for an pelvic ultrasound, so we'll see if everything's ok

 

hey I wouldnt worry too much if it does end up being PCOS. Its very managable, and more than likely the diet you follow will end up making you feel healthier than before! My sister was diagnosed with it about a year ago, and her diet and her lifestyle has become much more healthier, and she feels a lot better about her self now.
its funny how a 'bad' thing ends up being a blessing in disguise.

 

Are you on birth control or anything? That kinda stuff has happened to me, especially the boobies getting tender and sore or maybe I just remember that most.

 

this recently just happend to me!! Ahh.. Yes ovarian cysts suck and it sounds like one.. they actually had to do a catscan to find it... have fun they hurt really bad
