I'm so excited this is my first thread (OK I introduced myself). But anyways, I really need your help! I am in Latvia and can travel to UK several times this year. What are your opinions on the coolest events hitting Britain this summer?
I'd say Glastonbury, but you've missed the chance to get tickets for this year. Same with Beautiful Days. You might enjoy the solstice at Stonehenge or Avebury. Also there are some great smaller summer festivals coming up, Eastern Haze, Sunrise, Womad and lots more....
you could still work at these events even if the tickets have sold out , you would like the big green gathering in chedder its the biggest green event in the country. I think they may want litter pickers that may be paid , then theres stewarding for that you pay a deposit that you get back after doing your shifts you get free food and a teeshirt and the ticket and camping doesnt cost anything . they may still want litter pickers or stewards in beautiful days or summer celebration or eastern haze , or you could buy a ticket for eastern haze of summer celebration you can meet up with us at most of these events
OK...the way I see it...there are 3 events in the next few weeks (please correct me if there are more!): sunrise celebration strawberry fair isle of wight festival If you could go to any of these regardless of availability...which would you go to? Are people going to any of the above?
Summer Solstice, Big Green Gathering, Sidmouth Folk Festival etc Not to mention the HUGE amount of freeparties that go on during the summer. You just gotta be where they're at!
I'm going to Strawberry Fair. It's a free festival, and well worth a look for the day. No major bands will be playing, but you can find some nice surprises and it has a great atmosphere....
