where the hell do people actually buy like imported weed products from? everything i've ever smoked is locally grown, and hash is made by local ppl, not like mass produced in other countries and shipped
Although Dutch Coffeshops do have such varietys as "Morrocan Hash" I have never tried it. It cant be imported from Moroco. I wonder what makes it "morrocan."
i love Maroccan hash, the ketama that my local shop sells is great! It's also very popular here because it's a bit cheaper than most other hashish..
Same what Spiral Sea says. Moroccan hash is good and not too expensive. If I buy normal hash I always buy moroccan.
Nepalese is nicer though. I know it's more expensive but it is IMHO the best hash on the planet. Plus the quality of Nepalese hash is a lot more consistent than Moroccan.
More than likely was nearly all the hash in Spain is Moroccon cos they are beside each other, only a couple of miles of water between them.
there is this neighborhood in Barcelona called "La Rabal" and it is almost all Moroccan....the streets just smell like hash....this hash was the very dark variety, looked like a dark chocolate bar.....gotta get back over there.
ps...i remeber smokling some on Christmas eve outside of a cathedral...sitting on this courtyard amde of large stones that had been there for probably 1500 years just thinking about all of the things that had happened right on the same rocks....muders, riots, celebrations....so yea...good hash
Yeha there would be a large Morrocan community there. At one stage Spain was a muslim country after the Moors invaded it, but eventually the Christian forced them back down into North Africa. Have never been to Barcelona myself, have only been to Seville, Costa De Sol and the Balerics. When were you over in Barca?
I was there last year anmd the year before...stayed around 2 months each time....My wife is from there, we hope to move their sometime relatively soon. Never made it to the south, but i really want to. I've heard its much different.
I'd imagine it is, completely different region. I'd love to check out the Basque country up the north, and then Barca and the rest of the Catalan region. Spanish people are cool aswell, there's quite a few of them live in Dublin, they come over here to work for a year or two when they finish college or are on summer holidays. They know how to party aswell which is always appreciated in Ireland.
I was surprised by how may Irish pubs there were in Barca, with all Irish working in them...it was cool, the Spanish seem to like to hang out in them as well...hen i move there I'd imagine i will be hanging around lots of Irish since so many are there, which is fine with me. On a side note: moroccans in spain get harrassed a lot by the police, my friends Husband was recently sentenced to jail for the alleged theft of something small years ago, and they won't even tell her how long the sentence is.
I know a few djs from Dublin who have relocated to Barca. As for the Irish bars, they seem to be in every country. We are taking over the world bit by bit.
Last time I was in New York, I was reading about how several of their top djs relocated to barcelona as well, they said it was less regulated and more of an adventure than NY had become....apparantly a lot have also moved to Berlin. there is a way I can get Irish citizenship, my grandmother set it up, so I may end up doing that
