I was just thinking about my friend who is a hippie, a teacher, and a great musician; and those are things not very easy to combine.

 

I'd like to congratulate anyone able to correctly spell the words congratulate and ridiculous. Every time I see "congradulate" and "rediculous" I cringe.

 

One of my better friends is graduating valedictorian on June 1st and going to school with roundabout 60 grand in grants and scholarships (if I remember correctly). I am SO proud of her, and the way I see it is if it couldn't have been me up on that podium accepting such an honor, I'm glad she is.

I would like to thank nurses...because they are awesome and underpaid and have helped me when I have been sick. Shout out to over-worked doctors too!

My daughter, graduating 25th in her class out of 529 students, 3.75 gpa all four years, national honor society, getting MVP for her volleyball season, being accepted to Northridge, Cal State Bakersfield, Bakersfield College (thats all she really applied too) and probably going to pick up a full ride scholarship to Birmingham Southern College (well she is really hoping for this one) for her volleyball.

 

gnome chomski, howard zinn, mahandus k ghandi, the napping cat, kommemiko, chaos, eshari/didaxus, amara (both of them), stripy, manawolf, occam, the skips (all two or three of the ones that i know of, possibly several others), everyone who isn't trying to be someone other then themselves, little furry green things, friendly little invisible spirit creature people, amy goodman and juan gonzalas, michael moore and mike thornton, rudy and a couple of other local bus drivers, the siekh guy and the guy form england and the guy who could look at people and see their spirit allies, all the tribal elders of the eden valley band of maidu, and that bunch over in wakadoc too, and the washoe and miwak folk that i've met over the years too. old vergil sisson and his kids and their inlaws, whatever became of all of em. and that flute player who lives arround here somewhere, she knows who she is. everyone who has ever hugged me back. everyone who thinks in interesting ways or makes interesting things or thinks about wanting to. and of course all the little furry creatures that have ever said hi to me too.

and all of the rocks along side of a trail somewhere that were just right for sitting on.
and quite a range of other inanimate and or mechanical objects. and each leaf that puts oxygen back in our atmosphere. and each drop of rain.
