every once in a while i come across another person that thinks it's a great idea to throw bagseed out onto the side of the road or somewhere they are driving (in other words, not close to where THEY live). some of it has actually started to grow, but most of it got chopped down or eaten by a lawnmower. but the point of the story is that every time the police find a weed plant somewhere on the side of the road, they tend to look around the neighborhood and if there's anybody with a grow operation, they probably wouldn't want any cops sniffing around the neighborhood.

this kid in junior high put weeeed seeds in the little garden bed by the entrance and when they found the plants, the drug dogs came to the school and found every bit of bud that anybody had.

so please be considerate of those who don't want weed growing next to their house or in their neighborhoods. :D

haha that is actually really sweet man. but id say store em. get like 30-50. and even if ur not going to look after them and casnt be bothered atleast try it. find some spot, drop the seeds in there- pour some water on top and thats it. come back in a few months if theres nothing then fine u didnt really lose much. but if theres 50 bud filled plants??? A FEW MINUTES CAN MAKE UR YEAR MAN

i don't condemn guerilla growing, but what i don't like is people throwing seeds in obvious places where there's a chance somebody might find it and get spooked by the devil weed (marihuanah) and report it to the authorities. that just leads to problems for otherwise innocent people.

seriously- have you EVER grown before? because that statement is incredibly inaccurate.

^ yes. and after talking to many long time growers on chatrooms i found that sinsemilla is best dope, but seeded bud is ok aswell. and since ur getting bud for nothing, not even caring for the plants- a few seeds shouldnt be a worry

yea well that's what they do in mexico... they throw acres of seeds and come back seven months later and ship the bud over the border to texas. and it takes over the market.

that's why it's best to buy from a local grower that cares about the product and it's quality. and i would rather not my local grower get busted. cuz then i wouldn't have any weed. that's why i don't throw seeds around his neighborhood.

its an interesting idea oh yes, and i cant argue anymore because you are right - its just strange that for a few plants the authorities will go on red alert for the whole neighbourhood. if i had a home grower who had greatdope and i trusted- i dont think i ever would have needed to grow

it's happened before. there is a group of kids that used to all live in my area. about 7 of them and they would throw their seeds out the window and a few actually survived and grew a few feet. cops will ask around the neighborhood if they do get reports, though. it happened a few years back.

i've only seen a handful of cops out here in the boonies during my entire life (maybe 7 times i've seen cops?). but when somebody found two or three plants by the road, the cops tarted asking around in the area, asking if anybody had seen any suspicious activity. if i'd had plants in my backyard, there's a chance a cop would have seen them.

also, one of my neighbors is totally a narc if he gets the chance. you never know.

maybe im just a little paranoid but you discouraging people putting seeds in makes you sound like a dealer, because all these stray plants are decreasing your sale and thus also decreasing your profits.

na, i just get a little pissed when i'm with new people and they want to throw their seeds on the ground or out the window and i remember to the time when it happened in my neighborhood.

Hehe this reminds me of Reclaim the Streets May Day Guerilla Gardening back in 2000 (christ, that makes me feel old!) in Parliament Square, Westminster, London (where the government resides).

Anyhoo, the point of the whole exercise was to go non-violently and plant a shitload of vegetables and various other crops right in the square there (and the turf was taken up and put on the roads). It all went really well, big success and all that, then a couple of months later there were reports of hemp springing up everywhere around the Houses of Parliament. Lots of people went to have a look, take photos etc (remember this is central London) and despite being in the news it was a good few weeks before it was removed hehe... Sorry for the OT but this thread kinda reminded me of that

    RTS was good times...
