Hello all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the best way to grow in a small enclosed space like a smoll box. I'm aiming for something small enough to sort of stash away, and am not interested in growing massive ammounts or selling. I had some ideas if I had something in the shape of a shoe box but bigger, I'd have growing light of some kind(honestly have no idea) on one side of the box and have the plant sideways facing the light. I remember in biology a while ago that plants grow in the direction of their light source so I thought something like this could work. Here is a childlike drawing to help convey my ignorant idea :H

Anyway I'm very open to any ideas and am thankful for any feedback.

A long skinny box may work, but I would recommend turning it on it's end so you have a tall skinny box. Why waste the plant's energy trying to make it conform to an un-natural shape? The growing tips will always try to grow upwards, even though the leaves will aim towards the light.

    There are some excellent links,
but the last time I showed a link in a post,
the entire thread vanished, with no explaination.
    It was just like magic.

I wish I could disguise a chia pet for pot.

But how would I attach the light and everything? are there any links or videos for something like this?

google "sea of green" .. this method could give you the results you are hoping for.. but this doesn't excuse you of taking good care of your plant...
    take care and good luck
