Still not watched a film since last but I did watch "The History of Mr Polly" last night, classed as a drama.

    Scarlett Johansson in a bikini...[IMG]

I remember thinking it was a real disappointment for a Woody Allen film, with horrible wooden characters and dialogue (the policemen especially), but I think my memory has been kind to it, partly because the treatment of blind contingency and the image of the ball / key bouncing is such a strong and powerful idea and partly because of Scarlett Johansson in a bikini...

    ''Blood Diamond''

Djimon Hounsou deserved a bloody oscar for his performance.

    G:MT Greenwich Mean Time

It was on Channel 2 on Sunday night and was actually pretty good. About 6 friends who were making music and wanting to hit big, but things break down... one turns into a crackhead, another is seriously paralysed, some sell out and so on!

Hot Fuzz.. extremely funny.. most actors/actresses are from 'shawn of the dead' .. many twists and lots of unexpected funny scenes. i am starting to like english movies now.
