At the G8 summit in two weeks the Germans and Brits are going to introduce a resolution to cut back carbon emmisions to 50% of 1990 levels by 2050, and to do our best to stop global warming at 3.6 degrees for this century (if gone unchecked it is most likely to go up 11 degrees). The Bush administration is against this resolution and most likely will not pass it. Please e-mail your congressmen and senators, and even the president himself to tell him how you feel. And if you are on Facebook, please join the "Petition for the US to pass the upcoming climate deal" group at http://unco.************/group.php?gid=2359519451&ref=mf.
    Thanks for all your support

You are not going to change the Bush government's stance with emails, ikarus. Surely you know that, don't you?

Solve the probelm in another way. Get the people to reduce and avoid using products from places that will not try to assist. Bush is like all of our goverment, they cater to big business only!

Good idea. That's one way. There are others, too.
