PIGS HAVE THEY'RE TESTICAL AND TAILS CUT OFF AS WELL AS THEY'RE TEETH SAWN IN HALF. COWS HAVE THEY'RE HORNS BROKE OFF AND ARE BRANDED. CHICKENS HAVE THEY'RE BEAKS BURNED OFF AND ARE THEN BOILED ALIVE. CALFS ARE SEPERATED AT BIRTH. THE WORKERS THROW THESE ANIMALS AROUND LIKE A FOOTBALL. BABY CHICKS, KILLED AT BIRTH. KFC (KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN) TORTURES CHICKENS BEFORE KILLING THEM.I FOR ONE WILL NOT STAND HERE AND WAIT FOR THIS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!! ok, this posting style drives me nuts, and it is Tie-dye (as an adjective, a tie-dyed shirt) or Tie dye as a verb. Whew... now to the topic: hear this: all male animals are castrated to docility. Calves of DAIRY cattle are separated, not meat animals, just so you know. and Peta is basically a really bad PR machine. (I'm working on a circus story with them and they have lied to me twice -- oh, sorry, gotten their facts mixed up) please, please, please check out other organizations!
that was all very innaccurate. you cant expect anyone to take you seriously and neither can PETA. its too bad really.
I have been to peta2 a few times, but the spelling & grammar is just too depressingly bad (mine isn't exactly fantastic either, so it takes a lot for me to complain). Which does them a diservice, because a lot of people won't take your points seriously if they aren't well written. It also seemed like every post was just parroting whatever was on the main site; which was a little disturbing, not to mention tedious to read. I personally don't agree with PETA's ideas or approach; but if you do well that's your right I suppose. So I would advise people research beyond PETA so they can have more rounded solid convictions. Learning and using a reasonable grasp of the English language would be nifty too.
I like the FREE DVD on Peta2 but other than that I don't see how you make a difference by just joining the site ?
