Ok well I didn't make it to sound like I have DREADLOCK pictures. I need some help.
Well before we make any assumptions, the reason I'm thinkin about
getting dreads is because of Samson. I mean, a lot of beliefs and all
    that
spiritual shit that came out of the whole point of locks, samson was
mainly apart of. (from the bible)(if I said anything wrong, don't kill me please lol)

I'm wanting you to look at this picture and tell me honestly, how would
I look with like darkbrown (or blonde) fat locks...Not to big. I'm 6'1
at 200 even. My hair is perfect for locks, but honestly, look at this
picture of me and tell me if locks would fit the way I look.

Btw, if I ever got locks, them things wouldn't ever be looking messed
up. I'd be taking care of em like nothing. professionally done since I don't want to take the chance
of fucking my own locks up.

That was me high about 4 months ago. My hair is down to my eyes now. take another month of growing
but yeah, explain your thoughts on how they would look on me.
I need some input, cause my gf doesn't want me to, but she said she'll still
love me, just not going to put her hands threw my head (even tho I'm gonna
    keep em clean)

Thanks for all the positive (and -) input.

    I also have AIM, xAxKx4x7...

In my own ramping up to get dreads, I'm finding as I'm getting closer to doing it, the less I think about things like 'how am I gonna look' and more like 'what am I gonna name 'em?!'

I think dreads would look just fine on you. You'll probably have a bit of a spikey anime look for a bit before they mature but I think that'd look nifty too.

Yeah I got my mom saying, it'll look stupid and shit. I just am going to go for it. I mean the worst that can happen is it ends up looking bad and I cut them off...Should I let them turn into my natural color or die them like dirty blonde?

Keep it natural, I think you'd look better with brown (??, picture is in black and white) locks ;)

Yep, locks are for every face type. Know why? Because it's hair in its natural state. We were all made for them...

Whatever color your hair is naturally...that's the color you should go for. Dying and maintaining a hair color is a pain in the ass with dreads. It's beyond a pain in the ass...and it's not good for your dreads.

Don't dye your hair. NO NO NO. You'll look like a silly bitch when it starts growing out. Or when the dreads fall out. Not fun.

Embrace it. Dreaded up grey hair looks awesome!

If you're extremely self conscious about it...by all means dye it. I'm just saying, dye's bad.

Im sorry but to "embrace" grey hair, or even dreads for that matter, is just silly. Every other time I have dyed my hair I have noticed one thing. My hair is very knotty afterwards.

um...if you don't want to embrace dreads, then why are you getting them?

And your hair's knotty afterwards because it's unhealthy/dry from the dye. I should know...I've been dying my hair religiously for 6 years. I haven't dyed since I dreaded, and I'm not going back. :)

Look into henna and indigo - natural dyes. Hell, henna will even condition your hair. Don't know too much about indigo yet but there's some good info out there.

Yea you can say that easily because you dont have grey hair. If you did, your opinion but dying your hair would change alot. You would probibly freak out one night after looking in the mirror and going "omg, they are getting REALLY grey" I do embrace my dreads, I love em, and I want them to look good.

Condition my hair? Isn't that something I DONT want? How do you know about this stuff, have you used it before?

i am bleaching my dreads next weekend and then dying the brown ones back to brown to help them knot up better and redoing my blue ones.
    why? because it's my hair!

do what you want man, if you don't like having grey hair then dye it. it's just hair.

I dyed it last night. Man......took forever to get the dye washed out. I musta stood there for like 15 mins rinsing it out. They look great though. The only thing that really bothers me is that my hair keeps getting loose. The roots keep spitting out hairs , some more then others. I have a bundle of hair in the back that I am trying to get to marry "Tight-ass" (my first dread). But I dont think he likes her. They are not very close right now. Will the relationship get better? I have rubber bands around them so the loose hair....I mean "he" doesnt try to marry other girls near by. He belongs to her. I have made an illustration for you guys:

    If that doesnt work try:

    Tell me what you think!

you can never tell with those dreads :p

you should take the rubberbands out though! horrible idea dude D:
they will melt into your hair and become disgusting.
    you will regret it forever.

get some embroidery thread or something and tie them together.

beads are better than rubber bands :) they let the hair move while still holding them together.

i love the illustrations... but only time will tell if they are meant to be :D
