Don't mention Arthur C. Clark, Philip K. Dick or Isaac Asimov. I've read all the classics and i'm looking for new releases worth the time to read 'em.
Sorry, these are old but have you read Neuromancer by William Gibson, 1984 or Child of Fortune by Norman Spinrad, 1985?
Excellent book. Only old if you have already read it a dozen times. I'll add the next two books in the "Cyberspace Trilogy", the follow-up's to Neuromancer; Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive. Gibson's newest book is entitled Pattern Recognition, I haven't read it but it looks worth checking out.
