I am a young hippie, and, along with a small group of friends, I have enjoyed living the lifestyle even in the ultra-conservative suburbs of metro Atlanta. But lately I have become disillusioned and angry with the mainstream conservative idiots who live here. My spirit yearns for freedom and fellowship with my fellow brothers and sisters. Can anyone suggest a commune close to but not in the Atlanta area? I am more than willing to leave Georgia if needed, but I don't want to have to travel too far. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Peace, love, and Freedom!
I wish I knew a commune to suggest...but if I did I'd probably be living there right now! I too yearn for freedom and a carefree life style. Sorry I couldn't help you out brother. Peace to you and all your kind.
They are there; just most of them you cannot locate on the InterWeb. In time you will find what you are looking for. I am looking for the same in my area.
Good thing to do would be to go on the road - travel is the best way to meet new people, you might even find a group you'd be willing to start a commune with! I doubt there's many in Georgia, unless you wanna live in the mountains, brew moonshine and grow pot hillbilly-style. Actually that sounds pretty kick-ass. Them hillbillies are smarter than they look.
