prom dress

i need help with jewelry.i know i want a to wear a necklace that's for sure.it's my trademark.how much is too much?and what color should i go with?

 

I say go with seashells

and don't wear earrings.

Jewelry is overrated. When I went to my prom I just wore a really delicate necklace of my friend's because I thought I looked kinda plain. I suggest just a tiny thing that doesn't distract anyone, seeing as you have a lot of lovely beading on your dress.

 

Wear your usual hemp! Seriously, it will be awesome and different. And judging from the pics, it looks great with the dress.

 

I'm for hemp too, actually. You could make a really stellar celtic knot-esque choker or something even.

haha i'm actually wearing a hemp necklace in the photo.i was considering it at first but that one's to chunky.maybe today i can go buy some small ones.i think i look just wrong without a necklace on

i found a couple stellar earrings at this lady's homemade-ish store but i have gauges so i might just go with those.meg i did see these dangly ones with tiny golden shells.they were a beaut!

my schools not out till mid june (my birthday actually ) and i dont have a dress yet. im going to the city soon to find some fabric, ill be making it myself, just a really simple one. i kinda wish i could afford a nice fancy dress like yours, but i just cant justify spending more than $40 on my grad lol

 

if i could go back id have someone make me one so id have a personally touch to it.

okay how about HEMP AND SEA SHELLS. Seriously, making hemp jewelry isn't hard... and making them with sea shells isn't hard either. Hell, I'll make a video if you want.

my prom is tomorrow.i've decided to go with antique jewelry.a braclet and a ring to keep it simple and a lacey choker to match the dress.this shall be fun!

at my formal i refused to wear a dress like everyone else.. i had this gorgeous green singlet with silk ribbon wound thru it, and a back skirt with flowers all over them and inch long strands of beads coming down bout 2 inches from the top... plus i just wore jewellery from home...
find something that's going to add a personal touch, instead of just getting dolled up like everyone else...
