That was so ridiculous but it was still somehow entertaining and watchable so you watch it to the end and then (and for me smoking a couple bowls during it may have effected this)- but it just got SO cheesy and predictable at the end that you just sit there and laugh when it's supposed to be serious? Yep.
Didn't read your whole post. Was not supposed to be serious. I have seen a lot of b movies though. I think Waterworld was on today. I mean, I didn't watch it a second time.
I couldn't even finish The Farce of the Penguins... I thought it mighta been funny (remake of march of the penguins, created by bob saget and samuel l. jackson with samuel l. jackson's voice) but no... it was just terrible. Then again, I was sober when I watched it.
serious movies are the best man b movies...oh god it just makes it ten times funnier when they don't intend it to be funny
My middle brother and I saw "Spy Game" with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt in theater when it first came out and about 10 minutes into the movie we could barely contain our laughter. Every shot tried to be so fucking "cool" and the close-ups of Redford after saying something clever were just too much to handle. Haha, it was great.
I rented this movie called Prophecy directed by John Frankenheimer. This Dr. and his wife head out to the Maine woods to investigate claims of environmental pollution, and run into killer mutants. you can clearly tell that the movie was filmed somewhere in the pacific northwest, and the creatures were fake and cheesy - but for some strange reason I liked it Hotwater
