Awww I'm sorry you had to go through that.... I just recently learned something very bad about someone that I was very close to for a long time and it does suck. But you seem to have a great attitude and that's wonderful that you can see things about yourself. I can actually relate there also

 

Yea, that's a part of live, you live and learn... it also seems like no matter what you hear you take that shit for granted untill you find out the advice was correct, but you didn't listen, and had to learn the hard way. haha

My best friend, telling me the four kids that were living with her were her sisters, and that her sister had just disappeared to start a new life, leaving the kids behind without even a look back..

The weird thing is, I realised it was a lie so very gradually.. She acted and behaved like a mother.. Ok, a struggling mother, but the maternal connection was just about visible behind all the tantrums and stresses...

Ahem.. I think it was only seeing her naked that I FINALLY realised that they were hers... And finding out like this, and avoiding a huge argument, has strengthened our friendship.. And do you know? I@ve known her since last August and it was only last week that I finally got her to share her experiences of giving birth and growing up with her children?

 

That's crazy, who kids that kind of thing, obviously if the first story was true, she was stuck with all those damn kids anyways, might as well atmit to them being hers....

If someone told me some outlandish story like that I wouldn't have much mor to do with them... if they lied and made up such a big story like that, what else could you believe that they told you?

 

She lies alot, and some are more shocking than the one I mentioned.. Thankfully, I'm out of that vicious circle after asking her to promise to let me be the one person who got nothing but the truth..

But knowing what she she's capable of, I'll never be totally convinced
