So as of last night I have a vegetarian man in my life. I don't like to say that I have a boyfriend or any of that stuff, but I now have a man...lol I believe that it really makes a huge difference when my partner eats the same diet as me! Do you think it's important to be with someone who eats the same diet as you?

hehehe that sounds like he's a pet: I have a cat in my life!

I don't think the diet MUST synch up, but the outlooks should compliment each other.

It would sure make cooking easier if the men in my life were veggies. Yes, I own two of them, one four and one well, much older than four.

He'd kill me if I answered that question on here. Hey, don't tell anyone, he's gonna be 40 in December.

I think it's important to be with someone who eats the same diet.

Not right now with my age, obviously, but when I get older I have no intentions of cooking meat :)

I don't think it's completely important to both eat the same way, as long as there's understanding. I'm a vegetarian, but my boyfriend of 4 1/2 years isn't. However, he supports me and a lot of times, chooses to eat meatless dishes along with me (say if we go to a restaurant, or what-have-you). I'm not sure if he could completely cut meat out, but he doesn't depend on it and tries to limit it as much as he can. So yeah, as long as there's understanding and support, anything can work :)

for me, the diet would not be important so much as the outlook, the values and such.

It would be convenient if my fiance didn't eat meat, but he does, and that's fine. We don't go anywhere to eat that doesn't have something for me to eat. However, I do cook meat for him ... I don't buy it or anything, but since I don't disagree with free-range meat that his family raises or that he gets at the store, I don't mind cooking it. And I enjoy cooking for him.

But mega congrats for finding another veggie!
