...because I just stopped caring. I can't fix the earth, I can't fix the human race, I can't make the incredibly stupid see the stupidity of their ways. So I'm going to work on being happy again and fix my own local habitat. I know that sounds selfish, fixing my corner of the world. I feel like I'm saying a big "fuck you" to all of you who care. But sometimes you get overwhelmed with futility and it's all you can do to keep your own head above water. So go ban abortion, kill each other to protect the lands you stole from the real Americans, remember Britain subjugated more humans in the 18th and 19th centuries than the whole of the Roman Empire (and believe me they'd do it again), drink, drive, steal, eat fast food, worship ugly pieces of paper with dead peoples' pictures on them, Swing on Bush's scrotum and shop at WalMart. The world is a circus if cannibalism. Burn motherfucker, burn.
If you can change one person, you have changed the world. The trouble is finding that one person with an open mind. And that is the trouble I have been having, that and a lack of respect for everyone here.
It is actually very good to fix what is right around you and then it can be expanded further and further but your immediate area should be right first.
i m getting real mad lately that the peace action are going down well i am thinking to do alot of projects by my self this summer the world is too filthy with our own shitt we need to clean it a bit ! and we can't do nothing without your help ! your help .. ur help.... etc ....
You haven't stopped caring.. Maybe secretly realised that you took too much of the world under your wing, but you are NOT walking away from the reasons you did that. Very few of us are able to make a huge impact on the things the distress us globally, and those that do go to the people with influence to involve them in their crusades anyway.. This is me saying that looking after the things around you is perfectly fine, and when you're over this.. lapse.. There's still ways you can make a big difference in time..
Not posting here wouldn't mean you stopped caring, just that you weren't all about beating your head against brick walls for no reason. Like anyone on a forum is likely to do anything other than whine about how little everyone else is doing about stuff.

Working on your own corner of the world is WHERE IT'S AT!!! It's easier to make an impact, thereby impacting the greater picture. The WORST thing you can do is hang on a forum and gripe about other peoples opinions. BECAUSE, the BEST thing you can do to make the world a better place is to SET A GOOD EXAMPLE, and people who hang around forums who have a history of purposefully bickering and aggrivating others who don't think like thye do are NOT setting a good example. Selfish? Ya gotta work on yourself and your own agenda before ya can help others.
