I came across this link this morning and thought I would share it because I'm always interested to see what famous people like to go around barefoot - now usually it's almost a casual thing, but this picture of Keira Knightley seems to show that she made her entire shopping trip barefoot?! Much as I don't care for celeb worship - I have to admit that seeing a big-time film actress going barefoot on errands like it's no big deal - I can't help but feel hopeful that it will help our cause just a bit. http://thesuperficial.com/2006/07/keira_knightley_doesnt_wear_sh.php I would advise not scrolling down to read the comments though - they are truly depressing.
Oh GOD! The comments they gave her are horrible! Is this how people see barefooting? It makes me want to cry! How dare they say things like that about her about being barefoot!

i read the comments and they are horrific. why does the fashion police give a fuck about we barefooters? i did post my comments on the thread for barefooter community. hopefully we can all throw away the shoes and keep them bare. that's my goal, hopefully i will attain it in my life.
What no male celebrities that go barefoot? Or is it just ok for the female stars to go barefoot but not the men? Just wondering
Barefooting among women, it seems to me (and showing off feet in general) seems more acceptable in society than for guys. Probably cuz more women do it then men, so were used to seeing barefoot/sandaled women, whereas most men where shoes even in summer. At least in my experience anyway.

I can´t see what´s the big deal from the beginning. Did the citizens of London complain about her barefootedness? May be someone could explain? Seems like most comments are made from people faraway from where it happened. Many people do not understand how much they tell about their self just by the way they express them self. Maybe the most negative are the most wannabes, but don´t have the guts. We could read a number of comments from stupid people with apperently no experience with the subject. But we do not know about all millions of people that could not care less.
