Right on the 12th and 13th of may i had unprotected sex with someone with the highest sperm count ever (stupid i know) and was too late for morning after pill now I had my period upto two weeks before this i think it was 31st-3rdmay now ive not had any signs of a period and its now the 9th june should i be worried? how soon can i take a pregnancy test?
I would advise you to take a pregnancy test as soon as you suspect it. I had this problem, only it was a faulty condom in my case - bastard rubbers - and I ended up getting an abortion because the area im in is having an overload in adoption centers and I wouldnt have been able to support it. This surprised me because up until now I have been prolife - but I would say that you should get a home pregnancy test right away then go see your doctor no matter what the result - and they will confirm it for you. you can then decide with counselling what you would like to do if you are pregnant. In my case I was scared and ended up getting a very late abortion because I couldn't get the money in time and I'm new in the province without a care card, and I didn't want to tell anyone about it. From experience, the decision is completely up to you and no one else, only a councellor can help you with this - they will always support you whatever the decision. if your community has a youth clinic I would deeply advise you to go there, because the first doctor I saw at a walk in was prolife entirely and made me feel horrible about even being pregnant when I told him I had decided on an abortion - I had originally seen him because I thought I had miscarried - and so they were very unbiased at the youth clinic and this helped alot. Don't ever feel bad no matter your decision because whether you keep it or not, it will always be the right decision if you make it out of love for your child. Don't be alarmed by this message, I am only speaking from experience, and I realise now that the sooner you take care of everything the better and cheaper and safer it will be.
