I won't lie, I listen to MCR.

However, they are not a good band, in that they have no original ideas. They have a good sound. A good, generic sound.

And they are not punk. Punk is five guys who can't sing, don't know how to play their instruments, and don't give a shit. Punk is scratchy, growling recordings done on a consumer tape deck. Punk is angry, disgusting sound that is endearing because of its integrity and honesty.

MCR is sing-songy emo kids on an ego-trip.
