Even If I am a minority of one, truth is still the truth.

    --- Mahatma Gandhi.

An error does not become truth by reason of multiplied propagation, nor does truth become error because nobody sees it. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self sustained.

    ---- Mahatma Gandhi.

    Righteousness is truth in action.

    ---Hindu proverb

Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.

    ---Albert Einstein

Unthinking respect for authority is the greatest enemy of truth.

    ---Albert Einstein

“Faith... Must be enforced by reason...When faith becomes blind it dies.”

    ---MAHATMA GANDHI

The most formidable weapon against errors of every kind is reason.

    ---Thomas Paine

Reason is the slow and torturous method by which those who do not know the truth discover it

    ---Blaise Pascal

Hope you guys understand the importance of reasoning, questioning authority from this. Why ! Because only then will we find the truth, and only when we find the truth can we implement it in action, to act righteously.

    Got it......[IMG]

I fail to see what this has to do with Christianity. I mean of course people shouldn't follow anything in blind faith. But you didn't mention Christianity or talk about it. Great quotes though.

Well, you can say that this is universally applicable to any religion or affiliation or system, for finding the truth.

Oh ok. I think it would do more good in the "Philosophy and Religion" section as it is both a philosophy and deals with more than one religion. Not to say it shouldn't be in here, just it might do more good if it was heard by a wider audience.

I had put this in the hinduism forum as well, and as you suggest, yeah, I don't see it as a bad idea in putting it in the philosophy and religion section too.

See, you yourself, got to the truth of the matter by your rational thinking.

And I am going to put this truth into action, that is to implement it in action, by putting it in the 'p & r ' forum, where more people can see it, as you rightly said.

Sweet man :) I hope people listen.

And I might have to steal the first quote from you to use in all my arguements lol No one seems to see my truthiness (to use Colbert's words).

its funny to see the man devoid of truth, reason, and justice creating a thread about it.

What could be a greater injustice with making partners with God, hindi boy?

I can't debate you logically since, like I said, you are devoid of it.

How many intercessors do you pray to?

And Islam needs Paines, Jeffersons, Voltaires and FedUps, or else it too will self-destruct.
