Okay I love smoking (love vaping even more) but I tend to only smoke on the weekends. I do this to keep myself in line, it's a personal belief that too much of anything is bad. Anyways I am also a very healthy individual and I WILL be buying a vaporizer for my next semester of school. My friend has a box and tube vape which costs a little of 100 dollars. It does the job and I love it, but I always buy the best when I decide to invest in something. I'm not a spender though, I will buy myself something maybe twice a year. I sold a world of warcraft character for 600 dollars, sold my subwoofer for 220 dollars, and have a sweet job over the summer that pays good. But I also want to buy a nice set of golf clubs for myself which I been meaning to do for years now. Okay so heres my problem, I CAN afford a nice set of clubs and a volcano but I'd feel guilty as hell spending all that cash, and is it really worth it for a non daily smoker? Don't get me wrong I will buy a vaporizer, but what's the difference between a volcano vaporizer and a hotbox. http://www.hotboxvapors.com/
the volcano is by far the best vaporizer, it is a very awesome vaporizor and its extremley good. I recommend the volcano, its very expensive though but i am sure it will be damn worth it and if u want to keep it healthy. I would think spending more money then usual to keep your lungs good shouldnt be that much of a guilt trip
Keep your lungs healthy? Resin doesn't even stay in the lungs and, in fact, THC has been proven to help reduce lung damage and help prevent lung cancer, so what's the deal? Just buy a bong or two and toke up. Turn yourself into a goddamn chimney, man:spliff:
The volcano is the best out of all the vaporizers and those I know who have spent the $540 on them have enjoyed every last toke out of them...including myself. But, if you don't smoke every day, several times a day, I can't see someone spending the money on it. Get dank ass herb, a good glass pipe and you won't need a vaporizer. imo :spliff:
Well I'm certainly not gunna be spending 540 on the volcano, but I am being offered a deal of paying 300 for a new volcano (2006 not 2007) model vaporizer. I am strongly considering buying it. Glass pipe is good and all but I am really big into health. I exercise with weights and running, and I definitely want a vaporizer over a bong or pipe, regardless of price. Not to mention I love the high I get from a vape, it feels like a really mild trip. As opposed to a really relaxing body high that I'd get from a pipe. Of course this is more than likely placebo.
I love the high I get from a vap as well, but think they are really unnecessary, even if you are health conscious. My dad is health conscious as well (he bikes 100+ miles a week), and he got a volcano vaporizer years back thinking he'd use it religiously. It's been in his closet for so long now it is covered in dust and cobwebs. Not real dust or cobwebs...I was being sarcastic. lol
Haha that's a shame, is there a reason why? Is it just not portable enough and takes too much time to get what ya want?
probably for the fact that you want to feel the hit.. not just suck on air.. like you sorta do with a vape.. you're not feeling the smoke go into your lungs.. a nice glass bong with a perculator would be a wise investment for health reasons.. breaking the smoke into smaller bubbles which creates more water filtration.. and it'll save ya a couple $100 no matter what.. smoke in your lungs is not healthy for you.. yes thc has been proven to help prevent and inhibit the growth of cancerous tumors.. but more than THC is going into your lungs when you smoke marijuana from a pipe or joint.. many other chemicals are also goin into your lungs.. are they carcinogens? no.. but smoke is not good for the lungs
Thanks for the feedback and responses. Luckily for me I've hit a vape more than a pipe or joint... although I have hit a glass on glass bong with a "perculator" which got me real good. But I never had an urge to hit a joint or pipe... in fact I prefer to not hit them. Jokerman, my buddy bought a glass on glass bong with stained glass designs. It looks classy and sexy as hell but it cost of well over 100 dollars. Not to sound like a spoiled bitch but I never hit a bong other than that fine piece of smoking art. How much harsher would a cheaper bong be... or even worse an acrylic bong be with no diffuser (that's what he calls a perculator).
He only used it for a couple of times for these reasons (what he told me): 1) After the glamor wore off it became hard as fuck to tote around. Way to big and bulky to ever leave his house or even leave his smoking room. 2) It didn't do what he thought it would for him...give him a better high. After the first couple of pulls, he said his tolerance caught up to it and once again ruined everything. Now he just consumes pot and says he will never go back to smoking it. And says it has made his biking so much easier to get through weekly. The consensus according to my dad: Smoking Herb > Eating Herb I love to eat pot too, but it usually takes 45 minutes to kick in for me and that is just not good enough. I need instant results for my pain. *shrugs* To each his own.
