The other day me and my friend were looking for something to eat in my boyfriend's fridge and there was nothing but eggs.. He said "But you can't eat eggs" and I was like huh? most vegetarians eat eggs. He explained that he thought it was basically flesh, like pre-flesh. I thought it was interesting that he thought that. I personally don't eat eggs other than in other foods usually, they freak me out for similar reasons. So I'm wondering if you're a vegetarian, not vegan, what do you think about eggs?
not a personal fan, check ingredients lists and while I'll buy an egg free version, it isn't a full blown deal breaker, yet. This has changed a lot in the last year & I am seeking to have no egg by the end of the year. biologically, and unfertilized egg is equivalent to a mammal's menses.
I've started to really go off eggs- don't eat them atall now unless they're within a food- such as a cake for instance- which i don't eat anytime anyway ^_^ but still. The same could be said for milk- basically stealing the food from a calf (i know factory farms seperate them but if looking at it at the prime view)
i don't eat eggs unless it is mixed with something else. At the school that I work at was having "fun day" and one of the games they were playing was "Toss the egg." I was highly disturbed that they had this event. It got to me so much that I'm going completely egg free. it smelled so bad! I complained to the teachers and half of them agreed with me.
