I just saw Hostel part II (tvlinks.co.uk) I have to say it wasn't that scary, but some parts were reeeeally disturbing. I was just wondering what you guys thought about it because I didn't see part I and can't compare the two movies did you think it was too gorey? scary? funny?
I hate these type of films, so I didn´t see it, but what is scary (or funny?) is, that the director put the action to my country so the people here looks now like bunch of freaks and hillbillys.
It was a filthy movie, but it reflects the reality, these things unfortunately really exist. Sick people... But this is just another great movie creation of Tarantino
I was gonna see this but realized that I didn't want to see people die and get tortured, so I'm opting for Oceans 13 later in the week
If this wasn't the most disturbing movie I've seen in a while.... The ending scene was funny as fuck though. "GOAAAAAAAL!"
I had nightmares for a whole week after seeing the firs part so i think that i'm going to skip the second and think twice before i see any Tarantio film again.
This really disappointed me. I loved the first Hostel movie, but this one was...I dunno. The plot could have used quite a bit of hammering out. Plus the leads were all kind of weak. Jay Hernandez carried a lot of the first movie, I think. Overall, yeah, really disappointed, though I'm gonna give Eli Roth the benefit of the doubt and assume Hostel Part I wasn't just a fluke because I loved it so much, even though Cabin Fever had the same sort of problems as Part II. Plus his trailer for Grindhouse was fucking hilarious.
