G'day all, A Science student of mine needs help in doing a project. She wants to go into Podiatry and needs some input from others. I have told her that we in Oz (especially Cairns) are lucky to be able to have barefeet - with Cairns being able to be barefoot as part of our way of life, yet she cannot comprehend that barefeet in other countries is considered "unclean" or unacceptable. My student has tabelled a list of questions and if possible she would like answers sent to my email (starryid@bigpond.net.au) but of course also publish them in the thread. Many thanks on behalf of her. Avagoodone. Rob. QUESTIONS: 1) Your age, Year of Birth, State, Country. 2) How long barefoot? 3) Do you go barefoot 24/7 or other? 4) Local acceptance of barefoot? Interview people to get actual ideas if possible. 5) Any foot problems noticed from being barefoot? The following are about your Parents. 6) Parents age, Year of Birth, State, Country 7) Did your parents go barefoot? 8) Acceptance of your parents to you going barefoot? Do they go barefoot themselves still? (Hopefully YES) 9) Local acceptance of your parents going barefoot during their youth and today? 10) Any foot problems your parents had, or even genetic foot problems in family (ie fallen arches, tendon probs) Please answer as best you can and email (preferrably) to the above email with BAREFEET as the subject. Then it can be all collated into one folder. Once again thanks for your help in my student's science project. Rob.
