Gang Smokers?

True real hardcore gangs are starting to fade away but the "mob" will always be around. You know when you hear about these huge drug deals that go down with like billions worth of cocaine, yah I wouldn't doubt the mob might be part of an organiztion that would be importing the products for distrubition. Most gangs now a days are just dead beats in crack houses who are just gonna end up in jail in 2 months but there are still some top players in the business.

Actully theres a shitload of gangs around los angeles california in south central and compton and the government does not do anything because they don't really care and it's a really really ghetto area. Also east LA has lots of mexican gangs. There are real bloods and crips in compton that do have gun fights, almost everyday 1 person dies in compton you can read articles about it if you want and theres plenty of movies about it. Also turkey stuffing the gangs have taking over compton if 1 white person or tourist or police man goes to that area they get murdered. The government was actully thinking about sending the military there to deal with them. Police never go in that region and tons of people die there everyday it's pretty much a civil war black against black for no reason. Anyhow go read about.

 

When they take the whole state I'll be interested.

I'd love to see the Marines go in and show some thugs how to shoot. Shit, if they're seroius about sending in military I'll join just to go.

in my mind, "Gangs" and "Crews" are the type of thing where, you will walk into a high end resturant, or a bar etc. and you will see somone there and you and ALOT of the other ppl in that establishment will know "K..like this isnt a guy u want to fuck with"

Some people are born into that lifestyle and it's all they know. Sure, everyone has a choice, but it's not so easy for some people and everyone has to find a way to survive, and that's the only choice for most people, unless they choose to live in poverty. Sure some of them are nothing but shit, but some of them are good people who get caught up in bad situations and have no other way of supporting themselves and their families.

 

Instead of buying a gun to shoot and rob people, why dont they buy them a gun, build them a little hut in the woods, and shoot animals for food. Shit, thats what I'd do. I wouldnt be stupid enough to try to fight some pointless never ending battle and just be another life gone in the cycle of the ghetto.

as long as you have a place to live, you have the ability to better yourself, anyone with a residence can get a job, work, earn money

"falling into" a lifestyle is no excuse, and even a person with the most basic of knowledge can see that if they put forward an effort they might make somthing of themselves

Schooling is free

Scholarships can be won

Agencies can place troubled kids into helpful situations

Free drug counselling can be sought out

In my mind, there is no excuse to be a waste of life, no matter what situation your in, fuck even kids born with Aids in africa, who might eat the equivelent of what a typical north american eats in a week in THEIR ENTIRE LIVES, still helps out and gets water from the watering hole, helps siblings, etc.

You're right, to an extent, but SOME people are put/born into situations that it's nearly impossible to get out of. Those situations where ALL THEY KNOW is gang life, because they are raised that way by their parents and/or other family members, and they see nothing wrong with the lifestyle because it's all they've ever seen and experienced. People don't always fall into that life by choice; sometimes it's forced on them. I know this, because I've seen it, first hand. In short, sometimes gangmembers are bred and raised to be the way they are, and see no other choices, regardless of the opportunities presented to them.

True. However, some kids' parents were raised the same way, and it's just a never-ending fukt up chain reaction-type snowball effect; kinda like a family tradition. A few of my friends I used to hang out with, their family name is Madrigal, were all gang members; from their grandparents on down to the youngest generation, and now one of them is serving 25-life for driving a car during a drive-by. He didn't even pull the trigger, but 3 or 4 people were killed and they all got stuck with multiple counts of first degree murder. My nephew's dad was also part of the same gang as the madrigals, PLC(Pure Latino Clique) and he's also in jail for murder. My sister was smart enough to distance herself and her children from everyone involved in the gang. All of these people, at least the ones I knew, were actually pretty good people, and they just got caught up in all of the bullshit surrounding their families, and couldn't get out. It's sad, more than anything.

 

the biggest thing with those people [and most gang members] is that they are just total drains on society, they dont contribute anything to the economy, lower property values, get otherwise "good" kids involved, like you said, it just comes down to being sad, sad that we live in a world where such things exist, and that kids and families never have the oportunity for anything better

 

So very true. I almost got drawn into it myself, but I chose to join the army instead. I'm glad I was fortunate enough to see the negativity in living such a life, but not everyone is as fortunate and see no other choices, and by the time they realize it's a downward spiral, it's usually too late to turn back because they've either killed someone, or been killed themselves.

 

Twizz, on the other hand, seems like a pretty ignorant guy on the subject. He's not a real gang member, but apparently he thinks it's cool to pretend.

I mean, I like him and all, because he's a good kid, but he needs to grow up.

Oh yeah read my previous posts I hate gangs and yes they are the lowest form of life on earth my point is that's what a gang is. Now mobs are diffrent. A mob for example is the huge italian mafia that is rich and deals all sorts of drugs. It's true that there are very few big mobs in america now.
