Am I the only one that loves radish sandwhiches? I also love just plain tomato or onion sandwhiches.

Anyone else have a favorite. I would love to try cucumber sandwhiches but the snails don't allow me to grow them for the last couple of years.

Anyone else eat fried potato sandwhiches? They're one of my comfort foods.

I like a slice of toast with peanut butter and a slice of onion on it. Cheers!

That's something I'll have to try. I've never put that combination together.

I've never heard of a radish sandwich before... but it sounds quite delicious... maybe for lunch today.

Just a little butter and thin sliced radishes, great with a big glass of iced tea.

If the tomato's are ripe I can live on a tomato sandwich with mayo, pepper and wonder bread. It should be on the menu everywhere. Oh damn Im hungry for one now and our store produce bites.

Horseradish and peanut butter, I don't know Alaskan will have to think about that one for a day or so, before I probably try it.

I can't eat many sandwiches anymore. Gluten-free bread tastes like... well, I can't say! But it sure isn't good, that's for sure!

I used to LOVE a big fat tomato sandwich. I did break down & have one on tapioca bread last fall... with tomatoes still warm from the sun :) It wasn't the same, but it was worth repeating 'til the loaf of bread was gone.

Mushroom, onion & avocado sandwiches were another favorite... though only the onions were home-grown ;)
    love,
    mom

Avocado on warm toast is a favorite breakfast for me. Don't think I could survive without my bread. Too bad about you having to go gluten free mama. Do you saute the mushrooms or just slice them raw?
