ahh i would have built my own desktop but if its a good computer i know that feeling. when i ordered my latest one from alienware i couldnt sleep the night it was supposed to come and it was delayed 2 days when it finaly came i had only about 2-3 hrs of sleep in 3 days
i actually just built a desktop today, picking it up on wednsday my laptop wasnt cutting it for games, and now that i'm living back at home for a while, the good gaming comp is more like a family comp,so a 2400$ gaming rig is going to waste getting clogged with spyware and viruses just built this comp as a temp stand in until I can afford a Falcon PC
^ if you're picking it up you didnt exactly build it. I've built all my computers since before i can remember. The nice mom/pop shop computer store around here rocks.
I LOVE building comps. Its a hobby of mine. I built one for this rich guy at school. I made SOOO much money. Actually anything dealing w/ comps interests me.
i selected all the components and some ****** is doing the labour, who cares by having them build it they can at least certify that it works, unlike if u buy components through ebay etc. and have them short out or not work when they arrive the best computers are store bought anyways, like i mentioned in my previous post, Falcon PC's
well when i ordered it i was only like 13 but but now that im 3 years older i would just build myself one ordering the parts off newegg i first got into comps from battlefeild1942 and warcraft3 Skullkidnate-what first got you into computers? along with anyone who wants to share their opinion!
well my parents bought it for me for college so I couldn't buld it myself, though I did have a say in what it has. Plus, I am happy with w/e they buy me, beggers can't be choosers lol. It's a Dell Latitude D820 (yeah. y'all are gonna bash on dell lol but I like them): Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5600 1.83 GHz 2GB, DDR2-667 SDRAM 512MB NVIDIA Quadro 100GB Hard Drive 7200RPM basically all that matters in terms of specs
so you can build the equivelent to Falcon PC's 18,000$ PC? assembling components is one thing, but then they are assembled and sealed in a dust free enviroment like Falcon does, thats what you pay for imo there are no better gaming pc's in the world period, and i dont care what u say, u cannot build one better with the same components as they can. check it out: http://www.falcon-nw.com/config/build.asp
