Is the Australia Constitution outdated??

I am a student study the SAM (South Australia Matripulation),

I am doing abt the legal assigment which the title is the Australia Constitution outdated.

This is 1 of mine civil participation task.

On my reseach, i think that Australia Constitution is outdated.

It shows on my 3 point,
1.no more monarch.
2.no reflect the value of society such as homoseksual.
3.no update with the change of technology.

I will feel very grateful about all of ur comment,
nomatter u argue is not outdated or outdated,
i will still feel grateful for u to view about this boring topic...XD

I believe the constitution is well and truly out of date. It is time for Australia to detach themselves away from the Head of state and become a Republic with a brand new constitution.

i think that Australia Constitution is outdated because there is no more monarch since 1986.

Beside that,the Australia constitution didn't reflect the value of society such as homoseksual,transeksual and the other.

oh ya...Australia constitution didn't update with the change of technology also...now got many computer crime such as online gamble,hacking....

 

my reason y constitution is out of date is because australia doesnt have a bill of rights... this is very important so that the rights of the people is being protected... like the united states of america, they have a bill of rights..the rights of the minority is being protected...

 

well, i do think that our constitution is dumb. It does not have a bill of rights. i once read somewhere that ur country is the only western country without a bill of rights. I think it is time for the government to seriously consider putting one in. we can't be living with fear knowing that there is no written document to ensure that our rights is protected.
