Ok, I know that your feet get pretty dirty when you walk in public places, but some places more than others. I want to go to a place where my soles will get pitch black. Will someone please show me how dirty they are in different places. I want to compare: Town/city center Neighbourhood Country Muddy fields If someone could show me how dirty feet get in different places I would appreciate it, thanks.
town/city center your soles will get very black. in rural areas your soles will usually have the color of the area in which you were barefooting. welcome to the wonderful world of barefooting.
in muddy fields they'll get, well muddy and clean off quickly. one place where they really get dirty is at a self car wash in the drying bay, mine always get very black.
Parking garages, parking lots, stadium floors, store floors and city streets are the best places to get black feet! I have 200+ of my favorite dirty feet pics on MySpace. http://www.myspace.com/barefootguy I also have a blog there of some of my favorite barefoot encounters. I do not consider mud or soil to define dirty feet.
black asphalt parking lots in the summer. Somehow the heat releases the tar and it sticks to your feet. My feet are pitch black right now.
You are so right--they just re-paved the parking lot at my usual grocery store, and when I went there this afternoon my soles were really black before I even got in the store!
The dirtiest I've ever gotten my feet happened the one time I went into McDonald's barefoot back around 2000. I was in there less than 6 minutes and when I got back into my car, my soles looked like they had been tarred. It kind of put me off McDonald's for a while. ;-)
My feet usualy turn the darkest when i travel around downtown and/or in stores... one time i went walking through a Road construction zone..... and for some reason they Oil the Streets here... i dono wtf? anyways.. i walked through that sticky mess.. which was alot of fun.. and i had black feet for a good week
yh wen im in the garage i get really dusty feet but i think waljking on really black ashplat is best.
I was in London recently, and my soles got really black in Kings Cross railway station. London streets are usually fairly clean, however.
Subway station floors get my barefeet the blackest. They are decked out in very smooth tiles, mostly, looking clean, alright. But still, the very fine dust in these places immediately clings to my soles, leaving them pitch black within an instant. Also, on a really hot day, the floors there are considerably cooler than the concrete upstairs... so, for pedal refreshment on a hot day plus black soles (if you wish to acquire them), just go downstairs, if you have a subway in your city. wiggling toes, ~*Ganesha*~
