i'm pretty proud of the fact that i didn't screw up too majorly, as this was my first applique/pattern making attempt and i'm new to sewing in general. i made a pattern out of a shirt that fits me, and cut down an XL shapeless men's shirt. i still have to stitch around the edges of the petals, but i thought i'd share my progress.
thank you! i initially put the flower there to cover up some holes... lol. but then i liked it too much. woo!

Here is some tye dye baby onesies of of mine that I made the other day. Fresh off the line. you guys are sweet. i'm worried about the applique making holes in the fabric, so i'm gonna back it with some fusible interfacing. does anyone know if this will work?
