I see a LOT of this in America. Some Jewish women in my life seem to be fascinated by getting a tattoo. What's your take on this ?
I think it's in part because of the controversy. There's an old wives' tale that if someone gets a tattoo they can't be buried in Jewish cemetary. It's nonsense. It is against traditional halachah but then so are a lot of things. I'm male but I did consider getting a tattoo once with some Jewish stuff over my heart. That was when I was pretty young and after I talked it over with my old rabbi I decided against it. When some time passed I realized I only wanted it because in the circle of friends I had then it was fashionable and admirable.
Tatoos have a deep meaning in many cultures. The fact that the Western world get tats to look cool. It's an insulting trend & it is sickening.
Foolishness & Vanity. For me personally, a complete sexual turnoff, regardless of the girl's other attributes. - JKHolman
i must admit im not over the moon about ladies having tatoos, but i would not let that put me off having a relationship with them, after all it is their body
I don't know if the OP was specifically about jewish women with tattoos or not. I'm a tattooed woman. I love them but I can understand that tattoos aren't for everyone. My husband doesn't have any and doesn't want any but I'm fortunate that he doesn't find them unattractive on me. I'm going in after the beginning of the year to get 2 more.
I think tattoos on either sex can be really amazing if there is a lot of thought put into them and if the tattoo artist is a really good artist. I only have a couple of small tattoos. I have several ideas for larger more complex pieces but I haven't gotten around to getting them and now that I'm pushing 30 I don't know if I'll ever get them.
ooooooooh hand bags at 20 paces, i am only joking mama ,and may i be so forward to say you were biting, i love you though
