Where are you Jedi? Have you gone to Vaikuntha ahead of us? where are your humorous, on- point threads and answers? We miss how you used to harrass and tease Niranjan, and would defend us form our posting enemies here in hipforums. Don't be selfish and cruel, you must return, or we'll die of hearbrreak and it'll be on your concience.
Even I miss him. But he apparently does not miss us due to ludicrous reasons. I think he has mistaken attachment with love, and feels that to be unattached means not to love, which is far from the truth. Nonattachment only means complete absence of craving or desire or psychological clinging, not love.
At least the 3 of us remain All is not lost Hari! It could be much less inspiring without the rest of us to carry on Hare Krsna! I love you guys, I've learned so much from Hari, Niranjan, and Jedi honestly. Thank you all for sharing what you've learned. I didnt get to know Jedi very well, but it doesnt matter. I also miss his presence
i was just getting to know him too. he helped me so much with my paper, he even emailed me personally to see how it was going. what a good guy.
I never knew Jedi was such a nice guy...I guess I will tell him to come back haha thank you for your kindness. Though whether I deserve it is another matter entirely, Vaikunta is where krishna is, and krishna is in the hearts of people who love him, so don't worry I am already in vaikunta . I thought I should stay detached and move on, but after three days I had to come back and see what you guys were upto. Yes, I realize now that talking about God is a good activity to have . Its just that, we have to watch out and not become obsessed with one activity. I guess I will stay here for one more month... after that krishna is sending me to India for a vacation...I don't think internet is easy to find in my village there.
The Yoga Vasistha has the best interpretation as to what is renunciation in many of its stories, sometimes we get attached to renouncing, I did that for about a decade. Glad to see you back even if temporary Jedi, not that many people are conversant with Krishna conciousness here, and I wish to discuss many of its aspects with other people who are serious and dedicated. I am glad that you are SERIOUS enough to be willing to travel to India. Once I taught some girl to play the flute, told her about the Yoga Vasistha, and in less than a year she had already moved to India with her Indian dance teacher. I saw her once more and she was fascinated and anxious to go back. Once I had those desires, but now I know Both Vaikuntha and India are in the heart of all beings.
Looks like Krishna has dawned better sense on u dude, and u have returned back to this forum, where all your comrades are , and where the Lord is there too. The Lord is there in the company of His devotees, remember. So stay here, and do your duty of sharing your wisdom and engaging in Vaada, to find out the truth and presenting it to everyone. This will please Krishna immensely. This is a part of your karma yoga ( the yoga of action ). Of the debatants and disputants, I am Vaada (logic and reasoning ). --Krishna
Sometime I will have to share with you this dream I had recently about offering flowers to Krsna and a farmer on a college campus offering dirt to some dogs, and the dogs ate me alive while I was drunk  Trust me, it has everything to do with what you said above, very symbolic but I dont have the time right now, I'll start a thread on it maybe tonight or tomorrow
Check out my thread, Vaada : Hindu logic..... http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=232006
Going off of the idea that the 3 types of people in this world can be categorized as dogs, pigs, and sheep, the dogs would represent the people who feel that they have to step on you to get what they want, in this case I feel that they were attacking my devotion because of jealousy, which would be the root of their fear, or maybe not fear exactly, maybe ignorance? Well, that part is hard to understand........ oh I'll just start a thread and explain it for you
I figured some people would see it instantly, other people might not pick up on it. I tried to explain it yesterday to a friend and he got it right away I find it strage though that lately I have been having very symbolic dreams, and it always takes me waking up and thinking for 5 minutes or so to understand what just happened
I was trying to show the difference between Vaada and Vitanda vaada, which can only happen when you ask and answer the question... "what is vaada?" We ask questions to reach a conclusion, this is not mathematics or biochemistry to have one specific answer.
Nice to see that u have learned the concept of vaada and vitaanda as taught by the rishis and Krishna. And why not, I am sure we can have one specefic answer. At the same time, I accept the fact that we should also understand the relative truths as well,as opposed to the absolute truth. But still in the end ,there is only one absolute truth .
