I have a friend who got a tattoo a year ago and about a month or so after she got it the area started to become itchy and irittated. When she went to the tattoo parlour they said it must be due to the coloured ink and that they couldn't do anything for it. So it is a year later and it is still itchy. Is there anything that she can do to help?
Most likely her skin is just incompatible with the ink. I got a tattoo about three months ago and it's still itchy. When I called the parlor they implied that it was very common. I'd recommend using Lubriderm or another unscented lotion on a daily basis. It can help irritation. PB
Sounds like she is having an allergic reaction to it. Tell her to take Benadryl. This is what they would most likely give her in the doctors ofice or hospital for it. It will stop the itch. You can also get it as a cream too, but I think by mouth is the best. It gets more into the system this way.
No, I don't. Someone would have to hold me down. Can kick ass very well, but to get one of those, not very brave. Ok, call me Mr. Chicken.
No I wont, I htink it is stupid to get a ttoo and suffer to make one.. when one has its own skin, thats much more beautifull. If its to decorate the body, better use those who can be washed out and who dont require to get slaughtered for it.. Alittle butterfly on the shoulder or all down the back is sweet, but i wont make it so it stay forever.. the same with hands paint.. I prefer the skin as it is.
