Does anyone know the music from the Final Fantasy 7 game (not the movie)? I find my mind relaxes with this music, and my creative power starts flowing. The man who wrote all thoses tunes has to be a mad scientist. It's amazing how well they complimented the scenes in the game. Even most films don't utilize the music medium in such a glove-fitting way.

I used to have it, a friend burned the soundtack for me back in highschool. I played this game a few weeks ago for the first time in years, and when the prelude came on right away, tears started building up in my eyes. I still cry when I hear the beautiful genius that is the music, and the story line? Christ, that game was like the woodstock of our generation (one that wasnt burned down at least), and everybody either missed it, or misunderstood it

I don't know how the Japanese master who wrote this music managed to write a composition that feels as if it came from a forgotten part of my childhood. Does everyone else get that feeling? I am writing a science fiction saga in the writers forum and when I listen to this music I suddenly get a million ideas in my head. My only regret is that I can't write as fast as I can think. Who is the guy who wrote that music anyway? I've downloaded the music in WAV form, but maybe we can find a better version somewhere.

I have the soundtrack, I can share it with anyone who wants it. It really is *beautiful* music. Nobuo Uematsu is as brilliant as any film composer working today, if not moreso. One Winged Angel is my favorite, of course :-D

I remember the music being pretty darn good.

I also think the music for the snes gem chrono trigger is very well done as well, especially for its time.

You might also like the music from "Star Ocean: the second story" for the playstation WS; some very nice music.

Thanks for the recommendations. I didn't know them, but I've found both of those soundtracks on this site so I can download them.
