The dream began with a sudden fade in from the calm and still of nothingness. I, finding myself in an inverted version of my apartment that is flipped 90 degrees clockwise, am in front of the computer in a terribly compromising and vulnerable situation. Wearing only boxers and an inside out gray t-shirt (which I had also worn to bed during the time the dream occurred), I am viewing somewhat obscene, self-taken photos of myself. Most of the subject matter consisted of either photos of my own penis or multiple exposure shots of myself lying on a bed wearing only a football jersey in the company of myself. Some of the latter bordered between suggestively obscene to seemingly odd albeit in a mostly mundane manner. Suddenly, two individuals walk into my apartment completely unannounced – a man and a woman. The man looks strikingly similar to the actor Fred Ward but in one of his more intimidating roles. The woman, significantly younger than the man but quite haggard, is wearing one of those gaudy polystyrene (also known as parachute material by some) jackets made popular in the 80s. She also had manicured nails and large, bleached blonde, hair completely drenched in at least 30 cans of aerosol hairspray. In a panic, I quickly grabbed a nearby blanket to cover myself and closed all of the incriminating photos of myself. In the hustle of things, I briefly noticed that an Indiana Jones-era photo of Harrison Ford happened to be the desktop wallpaper of my computer but didn’t pay much mind to it at the time. Apparently the intruders are the cable guy and a woman with whom he knows pretty well on a personal level based on how they talked to one another. Upon realizing the man’s purpose of being there, I briefly engaged them in casual banter and politely returned back to the computer to stay out of their way… sans the self-incriminating porn this time. As he worked, he and the woman chattered amongst themselves and, not being nosey, I silently kept to myself. However, the tone of the man’s voice continually grew more and more aggravated and became impossible to ignore any further. He was ranting about poor work conditions, how no one takes his job position seriously, and I overheard him say something to the extent of, “This motherfucker over here, I’m’a give him such a shoddy installation with connectors thad’ll break in’a few days time. He’ll have to call and get ‘em repaired. Fuck him.” …as if I couldn’t hear what he was saying despite me only being two feet away. With a concern in my voice that could not be possibly mistaken as being hostile I said, “What’d I do to you?” He turns his head in my direction with an apparent rage and says, “What’d you do to me!? It’s what you and others like you do to me everyday! Fucking laughing at me like I’m nothing, shit, you’re lucky I don’t beat you now.” I try to maintain a calm demeanor with the man attempting to reason and plea with him that I did nothing of the sort but he doesn’t react favorably. I even offer him a drink but that seemed to only infuriate him even more so. During the midst of this, his Jerry Springer reject of a sidekick is yapping incoherently and only instigating the already bad situation. Despite all my efforts, the man continues to become absolutely and uncontrollably livid. It’s at this point he lunges angrily toward me. He never physically assaulted me at but I was still struck with the feeling of imminent danger considering he is only inches away screaming in my face. Terrified and experiencing that sudden rush of adrenaline that jolts through your body when fight or flight sets in, I instinctively reacted by grabbing a nearby guitar stand made of a hollow aluminum alloy (and now that I think about it in retrospect, probably wouldn’t have done much damage beyond only pissing the guy off even more due to it being partly covered in a foam padding to protect the body of the guitar) and swung at the guy. It’s from here forward in the dream that the ensuing altercation heightens to an extreme. Time suddenly lapses by in a blurred, almost indistinguishable still-photo montage of the fight between him and myself. Before the outcome could be resolved, I woke up. It certainly didn’t seem favorable to me and I remember having thoughts of how I wished my friend Mike would have been there to suddenly “jump in” and come to my aid. *** A few post-thoughts*** During the unfolding of the events in this dream, my girlfriend was out but I expected her back soon. Before anything became overly heated between myself and the cable guy, she had a few visitors stop by and I directed them into presumably either the kitchen or bedroom to wait on her. Oddly enough, one of these visitors happened to be some completely random girl from my high school that I never really paid much attention to and had completely forgotten about until the dream. I barely even remember her name, Talia or some shit? All I remember of her is that I always viewed her as very trashed out; awful personality, constantly talked about the most inane shit, red hair, freckled skin with disgusting white splotches all over, and morbidly tiny, like, 5’0 and probably no more than 90 pounds… if that. My girlfriend returned home sometime during the altercation with a few friends, all of who looked vaguely familiar but no faces really stand out in my mind. At its height, I remember all of the girls in the other room freaking out and my girlfriend threatening to call 911. That threat only angered the man even more despite me telling her not to make the call. As for the football jersey I am pictured wearing in the beginning of the dream, I neither own one nor am I even a fan of football. I also do not take photos of myself like that.
From a medical point of view you said you had this dream when you had a feever and felt ill. So my conclution as to why the bizar dream is when poeple have a fever over 101. Ferinhit their mind starts seeing things and not thinking correctly. Also when someone is sick, ill, or has a cold and a fever is present you have weird dreams as well. If you were taking a common cold medicine or an antibiotic or some form of perscription those while not all present in everyone can trigger minds to have bizar dreams when they sleep. Im not a dream expert or anything sorry i couldnt analize your dream. But i am a paramedic and i gave you my insite as to why you had this dream.
