i've never grown. cubes, i'll assume? I've never heard of moving them into different containers before, I'd leave them seperate, for infection purposes. If you do that, jars are kind of small most people use grow bags are sealed boxes or such. if you do grow, http://www.shroomery.org/ will be your friend. wait a few days, and all the smart people will visit this post to help you out.

well, this question really doesnt make sense.

i mean, i understand what you're asking and why you would ask it, but with a little understanding of how mushrooms grow (as opposed to a plant, like cannabis) you'll understand that the answer is this: 6 spore syringes will yield anywhere from no grams of mushrooms to an infinite amount of mushrooms, depending on how the matters are handled.

technically all you need is two original spores to form a mycelial network. this can grow and grow into a network of enormous size, given PERFECT conditions and patience. in theory two spores could colonize a cake the size of a jumbo jet, or even bigger.

more practically you'll probably be using either the PF tek, growbags, or sterilized whole grains for casings. even still, you never need to let the mycellium die. if proper precautions are taken, mycellium from a spent PF cake can still be used to innoculate new substrate, reviving the organism and allowing for more mushrooms to grow. one cc from one of the syringes is, in theory, enough to supply you with mushrooms for your entire life....IF you are able to properly handle it (and with any cultivator there is probably somewhere around a 99% chance of fucking it up somewhere along the lines eventually, or just plain chance screwing you over)

"6 syringes" is not a measurement of the amount of spores you have, as every syringe will vary quite a bit in spore content. more important than how many spores or syringes you have is what kind of substrate they're grown on, how you choose to grow them, proper handling or lack thereof, and so on. you could quite possibly expend all 6 syringes and never grow a single mushroom. or you could be set for life.

it all depends on you, the grower, your practices, knowledge, and abilities. it has virtually nothing to do with how many spore syringes you possess.

its not like cannabis where one seed will result in one plant, and if grown properly you can expect a certain payoff at a certain time. fungi, as you know, grow in quite a different manner.

hope this has been of some help. if you need any more information, go to www.shroomery.org

Nesta is absolutely right. I would also like to suggest that you learn how to make a liquid culture because it colonizes faster since it is live mycelium. Look up a tek for it on shroomery; it's probably easier than the pf tek and takes practically nothing to make, so skill level or lack of materials aren't issues with it.

But save my advice for your second grow. I'd recommend just using the last mL of solution in your spore syringe to make an LC when you inoculate your substrate for your first grow.

I didn't mean to say you were dumb, if thats how you took it. I meant that I'm not very knowledgable about this. I meant that those who know a lot aren't on the forum right now, and you bumped your own post after a few hours. I was saying they were smarter than me, not trying to call you dumb.
