Hi there, I'm a new poster to these forums, and I've just started to meditate daily again after a long hiatus. Anyway, today while I was meditating, I suddenly came up with a new, simple meditation sequence, and when I started it, it was one of the most simplistically profound experiences ever. You guys can try it and let me know what you think. This may be something. The Perfect Meditation: This is for Me, This is for You
That is absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much for writing it! When I meditate I have found myself saying things such as "peace" or "happieness" or "freedom from desire" with each breath, but everything you wrote makes perfect sense. I'm not very experienced in meditation. I meditate silently, but music sometimes plays in my head, and I enjoy watching the halves of my brain work, the left half does words and numbers, the right does memories, visions, and pictures, and the whole does music, and my brain can do any combination of the three, including all of them at the same time. In short, my brain never shuts up, or I haven't really been able to silence my mind except for when I did things similar to what you just said, but really that is a great idea and I will try it.
Thankyou for this. I've been really stressed out lately so I need something to help me relax. I'll try this along with any other tips anyone has! Thankyou again, I'm sure this will help. Peace and love to all.
