Concerning the Bush administration's stance on Hamas....
    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19263096/site/newsweek/

So basically what the author is saying is that the U.S. ought to have acknowledged and supported a terrorist government? That would've been a real smart thing to do.

The US government (that is, the globalists who run it) has been supporting terrorist organizations for decades, and they still are today. Hamas was funded for twenty years by the Israeli government.

Also, are you not aware that the US is funding a group linked with al-Qaeda in Iran, in order to destabilize the country.

This good-cop/bad-cop nonsense holds no water with those who know what's going on.

    Oh, I'm sure they are.

As Mayor Bloomberg said recently in an interview, "Sometimes, when conspiracy theorists talk, they're wrong."

In other words, you have no facts to bring to the table, so you give up.

Isn't that exactly what the American public has been doing by their support of GW's administration? Supporting a terrorist government? They promoted war based on something that had no basis (WMD and the connection with the bombing of 09/11), now they say we are spreading democracy. Well I don't think they were given permission to wage war based on that criteria. I want a written definition of terrorism. Why not round up all the IRA, for years they've been labelled terrorists?

Fact: Hamas is a terrorist organization. They ruthlessly kill people in an attempt to abolish the Israeli state.

You, on the other hand, could never in a million years prove that the U.S. is supporting any terrorist organization in Iraq. We don't need to destabilize the country as there are a countless number of groups doing so already, along with the Iranian government.

With public support for the war nearly non-existant why in the hell would anyone in the administration want to destabilize the country even more so? As if there is even anything to destabilize.

The Bush administration has never targeted civilians, which is pretty much the only universal criteria for terrorism.

I said IRAN. The US is funding the terrorist group Jundallah in IRAN -- not Iraq.

    Wikipedia entry for Jundallah:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jundallah

However, it is true that there are further efforts to destabilize Iraq, too. Why? Well, if you were making billions off the war, you might better understand. The more the war is prolonged, the more money there is to be made by weapons contractors and corporations like Halliburton and KBR. Nobody is being hurt by this war, other than those who have been duped into fighting it, thinking they're "serving their country." The plan from the beginning has been to fuel as much sectarian violence as possilbe, because the long-standing plan from the beginning has been to balkanize the country, breaking it down into three sections, as called for by the Council on Foreign Relations.

Wake up and realise that what the people are being sold through their television sets is far different from the way it really is.

a fellow in the sas wrote a book about his experiences in northern ireland. after shooting prisoners in the head in dark fields he finally got out when the powers to be wanted him to start shooting people at random on the streets he got as far as wounding them because he couldn't bring himself to kill people who just happened to be out walking the street.

unfortunately i'm afraid that the armed forces of england are being seconded to errands that are morally unforgiveable.

you can be sure that this is all going to get worse

It wouldn't be the first time. The U.S. government has supported guerrella organizations multiple times in the past if the organizations are fighting governments the U.S. would rather not have existing. Anybody who believes Iran should be left alone is fucking sick, anyway

Nobody in the administration is being paid by any of the weapons contractors or any of the oil companies as that would be an extreme conflict of interest, and, obviously, it would be all over all of the news channels all of the time if it were even remotely true.

    Obviously.

The only one it's obvious to is you. The rest of us wonder why an oil tanker was named after our secretary of state, our vice president was on the board of governors of one of the largest industrial military suppliers, the Bush family has been friends with the Bin Laden family for years and helped members of the family return home shortly after 09/11 when all other flights were closed.

There's more, but I am sure you wouldn't want to hear it.

Does that make them fair when incompetent executives lead to the close of a company that loses billions for it's stockholders, and leaves thousands without jobs?

That's another argument... Cheney's friends at Haliburton and Carlyle are rolling in money while he creates the wars in the world that fund their companies and allow them to gain power over natural resouces that should belong to the peoples of said countries that have been bombed and invaded.

Respect? How is it any different from, say, the USS Cole?
Do you expect everybody in every administration to come from nowhere? How do you think everyone made it the positions they are in now? Through working at burger king and making no political or corporate connections at all?
Osama bin Laden is estranged from the family.
The George HW and Barbara havean index of all of their family friends and it numbers into the tens of thousands. They have probably met at least one person from every single prominent family that exists in the world.

I probably have already read about it.

Its probably not fair, but thats the way it is. If it was your company you might do things differently.

Do you have any idea just how little power a Vice President, or even a President, has? In order for a war to be carried out the President and Vice President need to have the backing of multitudes of people.

    Just a snippet from wikipedia....

Colin Powell's parents were immigrants and he joined ROTC in college. He served in the Army for 35 years before becoming a General.

Donald Rumsfeld received scholarships to go to Princeton and he then served in the US Navy. He's been involved with politics since the days of Eisenhower.

Robert Gates served in the Air Force and was recruited by the CIA while in college.

Dick Cheney has been involved with politics since serving as an intern in the Nixon administration.

You don't end up "accidentally" working for a President. It takes years of hard work and perseverence.

And there are so many people in the White House....obviously.

Quite possibly the only politicians in recent memory that didn't have to work hard were/are Al Gore and Hillary Clinton.
