    grits are yummy,
    its made from a coarser version of cornmeal and when made with the proper abount of salt, pepper and butter is fantastic...its like a meatier cream of wheat...i grew up with it and im from the adirondack mountains in NY...

    I love grits! They don't have them up here, so I gotta have people down south send them up to me. No sugar, of course. Just salt, pepper, butter, hot sauce and toast.

    I grew up in central long island, NY... we have 0 country stations there... I never ate grits as a kid except for when we went down South....

    But somehow, I love it...
