Six Needles Found in a Baby

Last time I checked needles don't just lodge themselves into people... This
seems very suspicious and incredibly odd to me.

 

Poor Little Baby...

 

the people that lived in our last house were apparently fond of sewing, but not so fond of cleaning up after themselves. joey had been crying and cantankerous all day, and we couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. i picked her up, thinking it was her foot. dave points at this spot on her foot and says "what's that?" so i start picking at the spot and an entire 1.5" pin came out of her foot. it was fucking AWFUL. i still shudder, thinking about it.

 

Oh god >.<

 

it's awful. and if the kid in that story had an older sibling, this wouldn't surprise me.

 

I just don't understand how they got in him. Someone had to have put them in him... It's not like he's a toddler and got into some needles himself.

they coulda been on the floor, like i said with my daughter.

 

There are xrays but now I can't find them... Anyways, the one in his head was in the top... I don't see how that happens from them being on the floor.

 

I read that there were two needles in his scrotum. How the hell does that happen? And in his head and chest?

 

somersaults? after joey's incident, we borrowed a metal detector and found about 30 other fucking pins & needles. wtf?

 

also, saying that no strangers have been around the child doesn't mean the child wasn't playing with another child who could have stuck them in him, or another adult who's just sick. my geography teacher in college told a harrowing story about his older brother sticking a needle into his fontanel (sp?). it's not a garauntee of parental abuse.

 

seriously, hardworking parents can't watch their child every moment. i have no doubt that this child suffered agony, joey's pin in her foot was awful enough. i can't imagine all the places this poor baby got them. joey's lucky i'm here with her 24/7. but not all children are that lucky. at least they took him for medical care, and thank the powers that be that he's too young to remember any of it, the poor little sweety. but as a younger sister to two particularly rembunctious, and at one time cruel, older brothers, i can say that you can recover. at least my family never molested me, raped me or subjected me to child porn. i had a sort of safe haven.

 

No doubt, I just think it's suspicious. I find it weird there's no further investigation is all. Who knows how they got there.

 

Maybe the child was sick and the needles were homemade acupuncture needles.
The area they were located suggests to this layman that they may have been attempting to ''cure'' the kid of something or other - it went terribly wrong.
The fact that they went to the hospital suggests either guilt for doing something sinister or concern for something they did that went wrong.

How big were the needles ?.

 

Also with the acupuncture thing.. These are sewing needles so I doubt it.

 

This must be so awful for the baby. Imagine lots of needles harpooning their way through every artery, nerve and organ? Ouch.

 

I never said they were proper acupuncture needles - they seem about the same size - difficult to tell.

It does seem unlikely my scenario is true - but meh it was just a thought.

 

The baby probably got pins and needles or the mother used her baby as a pin cushion.

 

Those aren't acupuncture needles - they wouldn't show up on an X-ray they're so fine. Think people would use acupuncture as much as they do if the needles were as thick as sewing needles?
