Really help on this. I know the pictures are not to good. Got 17 plants in total at 16 day grow. They were all healthy untill on the ninth day I gave them miraclegrow and since then half of them have developed yellow leaves mostly the older leaves and this problem is working its way up. I have watered them correctly, only watering when dry, althout for the first few days I may have overwatered. Half the plants are really healthy the rest are not. Please advice. Thanks.
MiracleGro? Well, there's your problem! I hope that whoever reccomended it also told you to get Epsom salts to supply magnesium and calcium. MiracleGro is not a complete fertilizer. Read, read - learn, learn - study, study!
Was just going to use tomatoe feed instead. Should I flush the struggling plants, then use that instead?
They are quite young for feeding. Some look a lil rough but should be fine. Just lay off the nutes until they are a lil older (or at least dilute the strength 1/4 strength). As far as generic ferts go -> Peter's 20/20/20 + Superthrive + a lil Epsom Salts. Tomatoe feed? Forget the names and look on the side of the box for the NPK ratios and the list of micronutes It does take some control but patience my man.
NO MORE NUTES!!!! Those are burned, if I were you I'd flush the soil. Order some decent nutes too, I use pure plend pro veg and pbp bloom, both with liquid karma. Works like a charm. Remember, it's worse to underfeed than to overfeed. Wait for your plants to tell you what they need before you overfeed them. If your soil is a decent organic mix then you wont even have to feed them for a good couple of weeks more. edit: as far as epsom salt, I only use to when I get a mag def. Start off with a good soil and good nutes to begin with and you wont need it much. If you have a mag. def then try adding a tablespoon per gallon of water and wait a week to see if there is improvement, if you sont have a def. then don't do that because you will fuck up your plants.
