Last fall one of my customers gave me a couple of purple kale plants that he ripped out of his garden and told me that if I left them out side I could cut off fresh kale leafs during the winter. During the winter I noticed that they were looking pretty healthy for annual plants that were ripped out of the ground and were just sitting on top of the soil so I covered the roots up with leafs and a week or so ago they started flowering. I think its kind of neat it took them a full year to go full circle but they did it even under harsh conditions. The customer who gave me those plants won’t be planting kale this year but I thought his garden could live on if I gave away some of his seeds. (I will pay postage) Cheers!

That's great. It's too hot around here for kale. Hope you have some takers.

I would be happy to send you some seeds and would still have enough left to send to a few other people. The Garden the Kale plants came from was organic so I think that’s a bonus. Anyway send me a mailing address and I will send you the seeds when they are ready.(a few weeks) Cheers!

The leafs are quite curly – so maybe. I was just told it was purple kale – I think he told me it was a variety more common in Germany. I still have seeds to give away and you are certainly welcome to some. Cheers!
