I'm Back! [& seeing Dylan Sunday]

So the good news around here is that I'm moving into a new apartment, which has internet access! So I can once again spend hours and hours of my life sitting in front of a radiation filled monitor ... I've never been happier in my life!

And to top this all off, i'm seeing Bob Dylan in Hershey on Sunday night with my Mom. I'm about a million and nine thousand four hundred seventy three percent sure it's gonna be one stellar show.

So how have things been around here?

I have alot to catch up on.

 

Haha... Dylan is always a cornerstone live show. You must see him before he gets older. I saw him at the norva, which I'm sure you know well. They sold out that night and I was in the third row... the most expensive tickets I've ever bought at the norva were Bob Dylan/BB King... $50, general admission.

Most expensive tickets ever were Jimmy Bufett and Bonnaroo... 150-200ish. Jimmy Buffett is sort of like going to a Phish/Dead (well, I never saw them with jerry, but from a DSO/Phil/Bobby/the dead pov) show with a beach, yet... without a beach.

Bonnaroo is just friggin breathtakingly awesome. They sold out this year and I think a guy died... I'm not sure if it's the guy with the dreads I saw laying on the side of the road, but on saturday night, people kept freaking out and pointing.

Aaaaahah don't get your hopes up for Bobby.

I saw him in November. He was a piece of shit, which was was I expected.

He hid in the back with his band, sitting on a side angle, didn't look up once, didn't say a word, garbled all his words and the way he sang... It was like he wrapped all his words in barbed wire and tried to shove them down our throats.

But you'll still flip out when you hear him sing "He not busy being born is busy dying," regardless of all that.

It's like being in the presence of God. But he's totally first testament. Evil, etc.

Plus he's Jewish. ahahah

Bob can be an asshole, in that sense. He thinks just because he's Bob Dylan that he doesn't have to have stage presence.

Haha... Kentucky always feels so knock-offish, since it's our sister commonwealth.

Virginia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania are commonwealths.
