God DAMN IT! Yet an other Salvia question like this! Not every plant that has the name Salvia is Salvia Divinorum. There are a couple varieties of sage plants called Salvia <something> here and there. I doubt they would sell it all WalMart. And also, I don't think Purple Spiral contains salvinorin-A. Have a good one, and god won't these questions about "Is this Salvia?" stop!? Have a good day...

I would say definately not man. It could be just a nice plant or a cooking sage...

I can guarantee you Wal-Mart doesn't sell Salvia divinorum. There are many plants that are members of the Salvia genus including the species divinorum. The best way to get salvia divinorum is from the internet (ebay is usually the cheapest). Your local head shop probably sells it as well but for much, much more. I purchased some "salvia extract" from a large head shop once and it did absolutely nothing. I was definately gyped because it wasn't salvia divinorum. If you want to make your own extract you can buy the regular leaves in bulk and there are numerous articles on the net describing the process in detail - just do a quick search.

    Hope that helps
