well, that was easy...i've heard horror stories about people trying to cancel their gym memberships. but all i had to do was send in a letter. now i dont' have to worry about spending $40 a month while i'm at school anymore
Most people don’t read the fine print and opt out due to a lack of motivation, a lack of time, or when their dating aspirations don’t materialize. Hotwater
yea, i go when i'm home...i just can't justify a monthly fee anymore haha but i read the fine print...i was done with my orginial contract of 24 months, which enabled me to be able to opt out anytime as long as my current dues had been paid, which they had been. so its all good now
It depends on what gym you go to, but some of them are basically the equivalent of The Dating Game but without Chuck Woolery Hit on any babes with hard bodies :H Hotwater
yea, well, thats not my main goal at the gym...unlike so many others who just waste time chatting it up, talking on the phone, taking space up...i actually get in and get out..or get my lift on and hit up the sauna
I was uncomfortable working out in front of others.. I always did better on my own. Wasn't really into the social aspect of it. I think...probably next year due to funds..I want to get a bike again. Just a little something like a beach cruiser to roll around the neighborhood on. I think that might not hurt my back much, since I'm finding it downright impossible to do aerobics or lift weights anymore.
actually the biking will probably worsen the back pain due to the stretch position with hunched shoulders...its a possibility... strengthen your posterior chain (low back, glutes, hamstrings) and your back pain should go away. stretching and getting soft tissure work done on your hip flexors and glutes, hammies, quads, will be beneficial too. a lot of woman (along with many men) are downright weak with posterior chain strength - i'm included, but i'm working on it. so getting to feel good is key, stretching (all forms - dynamic, PNF, ballistic, static) will aid in feeling better. strengthening the muscles will help them fire and move correctly. building up to full ROM squats, deadlifts, and plenty of single leg exercises will do wonders for you - make sure you can use proper technique - keep the isolation exercise machines out for the most part; compound exercises with a barbell or DB are much better
actually, i started to do pilates and i didn't get all cramped up i was always all stretchy and my back didn't bother me...
