    Hey Guys -

On seed strain descriptions, sometimes they say 8-9 weeks for flowering...

How do you know how many weeks to flower, since I follow a nutirent calculator, and I need to input how many weeks since the nutrients peak at a certain week...

What difference would I see if I choose the the least weeks, in this case, 8 weeks...???

Edit:Also, does this desciption of how many weeks it take to flower, is this accurate in most cases, since I also have a 7 weeker it says, should I expect it to flower in 7 weeks...???

    Thanks Guys

Take it all with a grain of salt! Most breeders would like you to believe that thier plants are "faster" than they really are. The actual amount of time spent in the flowering stage is up to the growers descretion, depending on what type of buzz he's looking for (that's where the ratio of clear/cloudy/amber trichomes comes into play). So what the seed grower says is 8-9 weeks, may actually be 10-12 weeks - after all, it takes longer to cook a steak "well done" than it does to cook it "rare".

You have to grow a crop "the way you like it" to find out how long it really takes! Use thier time table as a guideline but don't be surprised if it takes a bit longer.
