ookay;i have a few questions;
i posted a new thread sometime yesterday;just basically saying hello &asking how everyone was;
&i started getting replies back about how i was an "attention whore" - a wannabe hippie because i wouldn't argue back with someone over nothing - &just yaa.

&before i decided to post this;i read where it said that you could talk about anything you wanted to here &all off-topic threads should go here.
maybe this one is different;but every other board i was on..
you had your few that were just angry with the world;who attacked everyone;&then you had the ones who were happy you were there to chat with &made the board more enjoyable.
i can tolerate whoever &whatever..because it doesn't really matter because i know what i stand for &who i am;

Lauren, it is useless to wonder why some people are aggressive towards you.
Some people are just unsatisfied with their own life, and some
people are simply immature, bored, and looking to feel better about
themselves by making you look foolish.
You are on the right path, just keep spreading love and kyndness, and
dont let people bother you. Because if someone insults you
and you allow them to make you feel upset or annoyed, even the slightest
bit, you are giving into them and allow them the power over you
to control your emotions.
If someone bothers you, ignore them, and it will be the person
who is trying to bother you who looks like a fool

People get extremely uptight on this board.
Within the last couple of days ive seen a lot here that I didnt think existed on this board. Weve got a couple people who seem to have this overwhelming superiority complex..and weve also got quite a few people who seem to think its ok to use racial slurs all over the place.
Anyways..its all flaming, dear. The internet is a protective shield. It allows people to say things they wouldnt otherwise say out of fear.
Whatever they say to you, you cant wonder about their motives or take it personal, because it really isnt personal at all..it is a way for someone who feels bad about something about themselves, to project that insecurity onto someone else over the internet whom they will never have any personal dealings with. Its very sad.
Regardless of if you reply to them or not (sometimes I do, just for kicks, other times I dont feel like..all depends on if ive got something better to do lol) dont ever take it personal.

Yeah just relax. Some people here seem to have cacti stuck up their asses. hahaha but most of them are still cool people. I think you're pretty cool, based on what I've seen and, as for the tread title.....you're certainly a beautiful girl.

a lot of people in the stoner forums, and the other ones too are uptight and just looking for something to do when they are bored. you're not the attention whore, its the other ones who want the attention by arguing and shit.
