White spots on my weed?

I just bought a half ounce from my regular dealer. These buds are really compact, and it looks/smells like great weed. Only problem is these wierd white blotches on it. Is it safe to smoke?

 

No idea. But 1 time I got shit weed that looked like it had spider eggs or something.

how does it smell? (besides the weed smell) does it smell like a cellar?

it wouldn't surprise me if its mold. Are you gonna let the person who sold it to you know there's something wrong with it? he may not have known it was bad when he got it from his supplier, since mold takes a bit of time to grow. bummer, man
